Bishop McDevitt 47, Middletown 38 — box score
Middletown kept the contest close, but Bishop McDevitt ultimately proved to be too much as the Crusaders picked up a 47-38 victory Friday night.
Olivia Fasick turned in a huge performance for the Crusaders. Fasick tallied a game-high 23 points. Treasure George added 8 points in the win.
Kate Fitzpatrick and Makaila Nester powered the offense for the Blue Raiders. Fitzpatrick posted 17 points, while Nester finished the night with 11 points.

3. Bishop McDevitt Crusaders
Key players: Krista Toth, senior guard; Olivia Fasick, junior guard; Treasure George-Morrow, junior guard; Alexia Thomas, junior guard; Jasmine Chisholm, junior guard.
Buzz: No Keystone Division entry logged more meaningful or dramatic minutes in 2016. Bressi’s assembly did settle for district silver – the Crusaders lost 46-44 to Northern Lebanon in the D3 Class 4A finale – but not many expected a pair of PIAA wins before the final credits. Fasick, George-Morrow and Toth were all integral parts of that chapter, and McDevitt is expecting another long read.
